The next meeting is scheduled to take place in April.
Broad Valleys Federation Meeting Report
Elton reported on the Broad Valleys Federation meeting he attended, emphasizing the importance of a library trustee from each library being in attendance as Library Directors are not allowed to vote per current by-laws. Balance is most important- libraries have to teach love of reading and love of learning.

Triangle Communications employees were at the library to complete the changeover from copper wiring to fiber optic. The library has the option to upgrade from 6 megabytes to 12 megabytes at no additional charge. It was agreed to upgrade to the faster speed.

The NorthWestern Energy bill was reviewed. The controllers had gone to backup reset and air was not blowing over coils because a bracket was broken. Elton and Larry Johnson made the necessary repair. Debbie adjusted the circulation desk thermostat fan setting to match the backroom setting as the fan was running continuously.
Sewer Smell
Debbie told the board about a sewer smell coming from the public restroom which she noticed around 4:00 p.m. that afternoon.

Respectfully submitted,
Debbie Benedict
